Mission Statement
Country Critters is a non-profit organization dedicated to provide care for homeless animals while providing them with a safe environment. We are take pride in each life that is saved and work passionately to find each life a home.
We are located on a 5 acre lot with 30 kennels, 5 bathing units, and large outdoor park for dog enjoyment.
We aim to better our community for both people and animals by subscribing to the following objectives:
- Rescue abandoned/abused pets
- Nurture, foster, socialize and find worthy homes for adoptable pets that are ready
- Adhere to a strict spay and neuter policy to prevent the overpopulation of companion animals
- Assist Natchitoches Parish in finding homes for unclaimed pets
- Educate the public on the importance of responsible pet ownership and population control
1 LIFE + 1 HOME = LOVE
- Fosters: We also are in need of fosters. To help keep our animals in a home environment when are kennels reach maximum capacity, we are seeking help with homing them until a permanent home is found. If you are interested please call Country Critters for information.
- Events: Each month will hold Bathe a Dog Day located at Country Critters. We accept all volunteers to come out and help bathe our fur babies. Every Saturday we take a group of five to the local PetSmart for adoption day.
